Is Chapter 1 really free for every story?: Yes, the first chapter of each story can be read on the free tier. It gives you enough of the mood, the characters and the first secret to decide if you want more. You do not need to subscribe to start.
What does the paid subscription unlock?: The subscription opens the full catalogue, from slow-burn romances to revenge dramas, along with every chapter as it is released. It also keeps your reading lists and reminders working across all stories. Free readers keep access to Chapter 1.
How often do new chapters arrive?: Each story gets fresh chapters through the week, so there is usually a next part waiting. The exact days differ from story to story. Follow a story and we will send a quiet reminder when its new chapter is ready.
Can I carry on reading where I stopped?: Yes. The app remembers your place in each story, so you can pick up on a commute, at lunch or late at night. Your saved reading lists stay together, which makes it easy to return to your favourites.
How do reminders for new chapters work?: You choose which stories to follow, and only those send a reminder when a new chapter is ready. Nothing is sent for stories you have not picked. You can change your choices at any time from your settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?: You can cancel whenever you like, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you are unsure how to do it, write to our support team and Kavita or a colleague will guide you step by step.
Will I get a refund if I change my mind?: Refunds follow our refund policy, which sets out the cases and the time limits in plain language. If something went wrong with a payment, tell us the details and we will look into it and reply clearly.
Which phones does the app work on?: The app is built mainly for Android phones and is designed to stay light and quick to load. If a chapter loads slowly or a screen looks wrong, send us your phone model and we will help you find the cause.
